Summer Philia

Summer Philia

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

Everytime our eyes collide
It's just the universe plus you and I
No regrets
No obstructions
Just two lost souls drifting apart
In an ocean of dust and stars

A joyride out of control
Out of nowhere in summer
With airwaves of doubts and wonders
Are you really looking at me?
But nothing else matters
We just want to feel alive

This insanity is taking me somewhere
I wonder if you're reading this
Can you take me where you are?
It's just the universe plus you and I
No one will see
No one will find us

This 2000 lightyear distance is taking me forever
And you might not even care at all
For you never knew me before
But if in case you'll love me too
Just find me in the constellations
Where our names are spelled by them

I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
