Hope and faith

Bring nothing but pain.

You hope for change,

It never comes.

You hope for life,

Here comes death.

You hope for death,

It comes to life.

You can hope all you want

But it never really works.

Faith isn't any better.

You have faith in someone,

They let you down.

You have faith in God,

He turns his back.

So why say

Have hope,

Don't lose faith?

There's no point

In either one.
