A Poem by RoyRogers
"

A programmer in a digital world

"
Watch the pieces crumble, watch the pieces fall, watch the board destroyed, and
everything is gone. Watching as the world comes up and just collapse. Walking on

the

edge and doomed to fall at last. You see every mistake, and problem which will come.
Can you actually stop it or just prepare for the calamity. You are the master and you
watch people like pieces on a chess board. Watching all the damage and watching all
the discord. You try to control everything but you are not really part of anywhere. You

are simply a user speaking to a bunch of programs. You know how all these programs

work but not enough knowledge to fix them all when something goes wrong. Yet do

you really care or are they just there keeping you company. Were you ever really a

good person or were you relying data. Are you simply a soulless android and are you

truly a good person. Does being a good friend and a good employee make you a good

person or in the end are you just playing with pieces. You will never be one of the

programs but you know what they do. You are simply a user and your stuck in a

digital world.
