Guilty

The need for closure

You want to say your sorry but you know they would never have it 

You dont care if you both speak again but this did not end well 

The guilt is on your mind and you cant get it off 

The burden forever to follow you since it did not ever end 

You want to say I am sorry but a bomb that it would bring 

Your heart says tell them though but your mind keeps you away 

What do you do when your heart says tell them 

but your brain knows its the wrong choice 

Never to have closure for the things you said to them 

At the time you were angry and you did not want to change 

You needed space to think and no one would go away 

You want to say im sorry but they wont let you back 

When truly oh truly you just want it to end 

You want the guilt to stop 

and to stop thinking about the past 

but you can never move on 

Until you can apologize to them
