History is history... you cannot argue with that!

 

history is history

can you not agree?

history is history

is it so easy to see?

 

we cannot change what is done

and neither what is past

but history is history

what is written upon human memories will always last.

I know that the last line is longer than the others, but I couldn't think of anything else. Other than that, I hope to hear your voices of critic.

You wrote a wise poetic rendering of what history means. As to the last line being longer, your pen served history well in its statement of "what is written upon human memories will always last." It is there and we cannot erase it or change it. There may be a little distortion in memory, but he written word like yours will keep it documented. I like this work and it is a piece that could be added to the beginning of history books. Keep that skilled pen moving. There are rules to everything in writing, but like all others they are made to be broken. I like this work just without changing the last line. It speaks and I listened.
