Tonight

Tonight, a heavy wind
is carrying somebody’s tears,
and I feel
how the past and the future
are uniting
in this very moment,
longer then a century,
deeper than the longest night,
and I feel
how some new spaces,
and new skies
are calling for me,
and how something big, important,
bright and beautiful is waiting for me,
and some far distant heavenly river is
carrying away all my sad days,
far, farther,
farther from fear, darkness and wind
that is wandering so lonely tonight.
