Tell Me I Should Not

Tell Me I Should Not

A Poem by Ryan.

Keep your elbows on the table and step on each line of the crosswalk. Crack yourself up and never ever put your napkin on your lap. Eat the ice at the bottom of your drink and mark the days off your wall calendar in big red Xs. Separate the blue M&Ms from the rest in the palm of your hand and stick out your tongue for no reason. Walk the halls and jump up to try to touch the EXIT sign. Run your hands along all the lockers and take the crust off your sandwich. Always pick out the pink starbursts and try to unwrap a Hershey's kiss without ripping the silver wrapping. Don't eat the spaghetti before you get a perfect wrap of it around your fork. Rewind the song you're listening to until you get tired of it. Make playlists that you'll never use. Close the fridge slow enough to see when the light inside turns off and balance the on/off switch so that it's in the middle.
Be a f*****g kid.
