Grounded

I feel so numb i don't know why

sometimes it makes me want to cry

but i know i cant

i have no tears

they were lost with all my fears 

you see you took my heart 

and its all my fault

I let you get close

when i knew the end

why did i pretend?

you were the one who made me smile

i was happy with you

but i had no clue

I need your aid

instead of this blade 

but before i cut 

i looked inside 

and saw what i was trying to hide

you left a scar with what you took

now i know why i cant fly

you cut my heart and left me too die
