Tunnel

Tunnel

A Poem by Ryven
"

I wrote this when I was 13. I remember being very proud of it. And I still am.

"
There's a light at the end of the tunnel,
I'm running
But it's getting farther

There's a splinter in my soul
I'm pulling
But it's getting harder

There's a hole in my heart
I'm healing
But it's getting deeper

There's a tear running down my cheek
I'm crying
And it's getting louder

Healing only takes time
And crying makes you feel better
You'll make it as long as you remember
There's still a light at the end of the tunnel

There is always hope, I like how you phrase it all. Even through all our adversity, all our pain, there is always something on the other side waiting to lighten our day. Very well written.
