Girl

Girl

A Poem by S.M.Bonham
"

A poem about me. I don't want your pity, so if you comment, don't let it be a pity comment.

"

There once was a girl

Who thrived upon her darkness

She wishes for death

I like this but forgive me if I'm wrong but shouldn't wishes be wished? In the past tense because it starts in the past tense there once was a girl, sounds like the girl is no more and she wishes for death is in the present tense. Just thought I would point that out to you. A nice haiku. Keep writing. :)
