Most will probably disagree with my view on things. But hey, this is how my twisted mind works. Like it or don't, either way I could care less.

Well we must truly look at what is the ugly truth of life. This poem although short sums it up nicely. Everyone is a sinner and has we go through life we must work hard to show we are not meaning to be sinners, but through our genetic make up we fall short a lot. That is why god gives us undeserved kindness. With out that we can never be forgiven. Great short meditating poem.

In what religion is the payment for sin is death. Maybe in some Middle East country. Us human being make mistakes and must overcome them. A powerful poem with a cold ending. I believe we must make errors to become better.

This was surprising. Very honest. And it certainly made me think and reconsider what I felt, not only about this piece, but what it represents in so many people.

I think we can drop the idea of sin. But we, or most of us, may all end up dying because of our unforgivable materialism. Is that sin? Does it matter? And the issue of forgiveness seems irrelevant as we face hurricanes and rising water all around. There are just too many of us. It is more our success as a species than our sinfulness, is it not?
