Today or tomorrow

Those of you who read my other poem about death probably think I'm insane. Death went from being the gentle arms of a lover to clammy hands coming to kill.

Death’s clammy hands come

To retrieve us all someday

So why do we care

If it should come today

Or tomorrow, why is it

Interesting concept. Needs more meat to it I would say. Great beginning though.
