As It Use To Be

As It Use To Be

A Poem by S.E.C.
"

A remembrance.

"

I thought of you.

Granting your eyes off in a different direction,

Away from me.

Walking up that steep hill, ignoring life as we know it.

As it use to be.

I forgot about you.

The days where you sat upon that cliff looking down.

Waiting for the right moment.

When you made your choices, not caring whether or not

They were bent.

I remembered you.

Wondering why the fog looked familiar, cleared off in the distance.

Swarming only me.

Looking up the empty street, watching those shadows, and seeing your outline.

Just like it use to be.
