There is always hope

Darkness everywhere, she is lost;

lost in the deep forest.

Strange unknown voices 

are falling on her ears.

Afraid of the hidden in the dark,

she is scared to move forward.

She is standing there motionless,

surrounded by the dense fog.

She exhales, 'I can't get out

I am lost'.

 

Now tears blind her vision,

she closes her eyes.

She remembers her mother 

and suddenly,her words,

'When everything seems to be lost,

there is always hope left'.

She opens her eyes and thinks to herself,

'I have to keep trying, I cant give up'.

Getting back on her feet 

she wipes away her tears, 

gathers back her strength.

At once, 

the darkness lightens

the voices vanish.

Now she is not scared,

she is not lost anymore.

She can hunt the way out

because there is always hope.
