Dark Fallings (Part 2)

Dark Fallings (Part 2)

A Poem by S.J
"

A legend of England I heard.

"

The sound of wings, the darkness

and rubble.

Tears on the streets, and walking

figures through the dark.

Ravens had fallen, and a sense

of dread had taken the tower.

Black earth smothered the minds

of many, depression and sadness

settled.

Only a dream. Life isn't dead, it is

not what it all comes to seem.

Father once told me, keep your

head; You’ll need it one day, or

you might wind up dead!

The clock tower bellowed as

midnight came.

Three strikes Americans say,

and you’re out of the ball game.

Life is a game of wisdom and truth.

Don’t blind yourself with stupid

dreams, and use your youth.

Ravens had fallen, Legend said;

England is dead.
