Smith

Smith

A Poem by Stephen Longo

It doesn’t matter your name

Just as long as I can call you my own

For he who tries to touch a star

Often stumbles on a simple straw

It is often nothing felt

But in the opening

It can reveal its presence

Your immanence is all I see

As it doesn’t matter your name

Just as long as I can call you my own
