Infinite

Forever darling,

I’ll keep us alive in every piece I write. 

my ribs tire from carrying the weight of your heart in my chest,

but you’ll be there for the rest of my days,

however long that may be,

know that time like this body will run thin and wear out,

but what I leave behind of us when my soul evaporates will transcend space,

travel with me past the stars,

where I will always watch over you,

weightless and infinite.
