I love it. I immediately felt it and engaged with your words. I found myself visualizing multiple settings while I was reading your poem: gladiator, braveheart, dragons..and at the same time in a real war..
what a revolutionary poem. And the style of writing, it sounds like a speech from an army commander to a his soldiers telling why the should fight. The poem has employed a lot animal imagery, "Fend off the beast", "Ride upon your horse", "Destroy the dragon", "Impaled by talons", that's impressive. In as much as it is fantasy poetry, citing the use dragons and beasts, but it sounds pretty much symbolic; like the use of fantastic images and metaphors is a way of making the poem cryptic. But as it stands it still communicates the message of revenge.
I can see themes of revenge, courage and perserverence in a tone of urgency. And finally, the structure of the poem portrays a falling action, like soon after the speech the march in search of the beast is commencing. I like very creative. keep them coming
