Meaningless Anger

Meaningless Anger

A Poem by Baylin Snow
"

A girl feels anger for no reason, day after day. Until one day, when it finally dawns on her..

"

Hollowed words stream from her mouth.

Empty thoughts leaving her in a trance,

yet to be broken.

Day after day, the question is asked

--are you okay--

by people who 'care'

Frustration and anger building

in her bones ready to explode

at a moments notice.

For the longest time

even she knew nothing was wrong.

'Til the day the wind blew it in

and she realized:

its her hatred for them that is killing her.
