Broken Composure

Broken Composure

A Poem by Baylin Snow

Everyday her composure is kept.

Smiles pastered on her face

to keep worries away.

Pity; sympathy; worry

the last thing she wants

There is always a day where her

barriers are broken.

She shows her pain.

Staring at the floor,

talking completely stopped.

She doesnt want anyone to ask.

Just to notice.

Pull her in close for a hig

or a sweet kiss on her forehead.

Eventually the asking begins,

the doubtful faces when 'fine'

is her answer.

For one day,

she just wants to be alone in her thoughts,

letting her creative juices flow

onto paper for a wannabe

brilliant poem.
