this pen...

is it possible
for a river to stop flowing
could you open your mind
without even knowing

 

it feels so good
to explore endless possibilities
though toying with your mind
seems such a tease
that is
your dreams

 

even if they seem impossible
you'll never get close
if you dont find them plausable

 

finding the end of a rainbow
we know
cant happen
but the idea
is its own reflection
of the things you could fathom

 

the journey alone
would be worth the trip
the imagination inside
hard to grip

 

fascination
with my imagination
all these questions
that i'm now raising

 

try to think concrete
and logical
it wont make sense
but be open minded
and the complexity
is now immense

 

like a cartoon
you can make anything happen
or like a vivid dream
with this pen
i can always have them

 

write a short story
or even a poem
even the dullest of days
now seems glowing

 

so with this pen
i will embark upon a journey
where it will take me
might take me a while to see

 

but i'm not too worried
about this world thats endless
i'll just keep writing
the feeling
bliss
