I'm surprised no one has reviewed this before me. It's a piece that packs quite a punch. It conveys very well the horror of modern warfare today where combat drones are being used more and more to kill people remotely. Well done, I liked it.

My disdain for drone warfare, particularly as means to combat or deter terrorism was the primary inspiration. Specifically, for this poem, I wanted to keep it concise and short, as many of final drafts end up being longer than my rough drafts.
The minor challenge was maintaining the flow of assosonance; while, trying to keep the poem concise
