Forget the sorrows,

From life’s blooming heights.
Fetch me east or call me west,
For I long to see the ocean’s depths.
Seal me in the Persian Gulf,
Or guide me where the oil wells rest.

If the land feels tight, or the mountains high,
We’ll build our nest where waves drift by.
Far from the world, beyond wild fate,
I’ll take you to an isle’s calm lake�"

A nicely rhymed piece that might be called a fantasy relationship poem. I like it because it is light hearted, avoiding the drama and trauma of so many relationship poems.
