My Fabric Flower.

My Fabric Flower.

A Poem by Wolfie

You were a fabric flower

my arms were the sewing needles

you held me in your cotton pedles

you felt naked

so I sewed you some leaves

I felt good just to help

Deffinately a bad habbit

so years later I inhabited

our mothers garden

and father came down from his cloud

and said "I didnt think you'd actually do it"

"can't beleive he went through it"

your fabric stem grew for several hours

I counted on my grandfathers watch

he died in the war

"how far will you go,

till you reach the clouds?" I asked

Me I'm a silent fellow

I developed an unhealthy habbit

so I planted seeds and stole the flowers

but you will always remain my favorite

I sewed you from scrap window curtains

and grandmothers Quilts

I stood you up on stilts so the whole world could see

you hated the attention but I didn't care

as the whole world stared at my precious flower

This is beautiful. The intent behind the words is rather clear-- nicely written.
