Since talent is behavior
it is measurable for all to see
Giving value to the holder
to become more than just be

 

Talent takes serious effort
and not listening to what some will say
Many consider talent is what others have
and try getting famous in some other way

 

Real talent becomes a condition
attained only by a limited few
Their modesty makes them exceptional
and you know that this is true

 

The life of a talented person
is all about learning and giving
The effort it takes is the best part
full of rewards and successful living

 

Don't envy those with talent
because you could have the same
Just hone one of your skills with effort
even when you may be lame 

 

We see this in the Special Olympics
and marvel about what they achieve
They forget about their limitations
and concentrate on what they believe

 

Doing your best is always possible
you may discover a talent of your own
It is what all talented persons have done
and their skills became widely known

 

Too many question their abilities
and just wonder at what others can do
Your choice to develop a talent
will be really only up to you
