Hairy

Hairy

A Poem by Melissa

 Hairy legs are unacceptable

on girls of more than thirteen

if you let it grow, they'll make fun of you

the jokes will be quite mean.

its unfortunate, really, the steps we must take

to keep our legs fuzz-free

apply shaving cream and the razor

sharpness is the key.

'Cause if the razor is dull my friends

most women surely know

that the bathtub will go from soapy clean

to a scene from the movie "Psycho".

And just when you think you've got 'em smooth

a day or two goes by,

you touch your legs and "Geez Louise!"

what a hairy thigh!

If you think that shaving legs is bad

armpits can be worse

and that patch inside your underwear

can make you want to curse!

This stuff can ruin your entire day

it can force you to wear pants

so grow out all that body hair

and get a house in France.

This was good. Definitely a good read. I loved it. Caught me off-guard too. I wasn't expecting to actually laugh, but you got me to. Good job. well written. I enjoyed it very much.... did I already say that?

This is the funniest thing I have read on 'Cafe.

on girls of more than thirteen

if you let it grow, they'll make fun of you

Of course you have to be shaved ! In this country good
grooming is a must. Men get in the habit of shaving every day
and eventually they would not feel clean without being shaved.
Of course there are those who think scruffy appearance is cool.
Well lots of unspeakable crud is "cool", but well groomed people
put CLEAN in front of COOL.

Now that you have "HAIRY" on Cafe, I hope you will write more, right away.

"Hairy" is literature at the highest level of good humor, slightly erotic,
educational, and extremely well written. I love it !

I loved the wry humour of this piece of writing. But surely this is a matter of taste. In some countries in middle europe even facial hair on women is seen as attractive.Do you shave your legs to please yourself or because it is the fashion
