Where He Left Me

I was in a very abusive relationship for most of my teenaged years, and this is just a glimpse of that experience

On his bedroom floor that's where

in pain

in tears

shuttering from cold in the dead night of summer

next to some tissues for my blood

In some deep hollow part of myself

And my heart- broken

forgetting that I have a choice

Alone

Constantly- for some reason

bitter towards men

hating my reflection

to die
