something I wrote back in'08. Just dug it out of the cabinet and thought I'd share it. Eh, it's old dunno where I was going with it. . .

I sent you a rose,
I sent you two
I'll send you a poem
but I can't write three
you're strong and elegant
gentle and harmful
alluring and dangerous
you'll bloom, you'll blossom
you'll spread red petals wide
you'll sing and dance
all to entrance
I'll fall for your beauty
I'll reach to touch the silk
I'll yelp and jump free
spotting crimson not yours
you're beautiful
you're dangerous
you're a love,
and you're a trap
you hide a secret
a terrible secret
you're a petal and
you're a thorn
you'll lure us to you
and prick us away
