Patriotic Poem

This was for one of my classes at school.

 Sunset beaches, of the red, white and blue

Native animals like the red kangaroo

Rolling hills covered in green

A splendid country with a wonderful scene

The sun shines with happiness and desire

So many faces for our hearts to inspire

 

With a flag of hope and the sound of peace

Our country will attempt to make war decrease

Leave a legacy for none to conceal

Our lives for our country is a golden seal

Gunshots and bombs let off everyday

We must help our country not turn away
