Something is missing.....

Something is missing.....

A Poem by Samuel
"

Last year I started to go through a depression due to loneliness. So i decided to write about it

"

Something is missing, I feel so incomplete.

Wondering "what is it?" as I take this seat.

Have I made the right decisions in life?

I feel as though someone has cut me open with a knife.

So confused at times, don't know what it could be.

The feeling of emptiness dwells and tortures inside of me.

When I breathe in, I can feel the pain.

Feeling of sadness like a sunny day, then it begins to rain.

From my heart down to my finger tips the pain is felt.

Breathing becomes difficult like someone has tighten my belt.

Loneliness seems to follow me everywhere I go.

Acting like a friend or better yet my favorite superhero.

My heart bleeds heavily as the pain sets deeper inside.

Staring at myself in the mirror wishing loneliness would just die.

I sit alone on this hillside not knowing what else to do.

This is my life, loneliness doesn't have a curfew.

I read your profile and saw the part about how you're in the military. perhaps that's why you may feel lonely at times, because no one can relate to how you're feeling? I know I wouldn't be able to, when it comes to the military.
Just an assumption, I apologize if I'm completely wrong in saying that.

I'm a victim of loneliness a lot as well. I'd say there's no feeling more dangerous than loneliness except for love.

I live in Maryland at the moment, and I'm not fond of it. It's...well, lonely.

I don't know the source of your pain, but I might guess some of it, being an ex-military person as I am. When you're in some far-off, strange place with no support of friends and family, it's especially hard to deal with obstacles, so I found. You express well those lost and hopeless feelings some of us sometimes feel.
