Misery

Sadness is madness,

When you can't see its end - 

Your life is Schizophrenic,

When your thoughts start to blend.

Palpitations of despondence,

Forever drain your head - 

Your curse your assigned location,

and continue to lay in bed.

I wonder what you might be able to do if you were less concerned about rhyme scheme. I can tell there is a real deep feeling of anguish here that might be beautifully and powerfully expressed in a poem. Have you tried working this sentiment into a poem with a narrative, where you show this feeling of despondance? When did you feel like this? What were you doing? What did it taste like?

I have, but usually its too personal for me to put up online. This poem is me taking what I feel and putting it into a shorter format which has more organization and can be easier read by others.

Also, this is one of my older poems. I have been going outside the box more recently and not been so concerned with rhyming. But thanks for the review!

iind phase's quite captivating. liked the choice of words here. deep. proactive. & very eye catching. half of this world esp. us youth keep trudging thro' the dilemma of such "despondence" of life which further becoming the real cursed caused to our "MISERY", undisguised. nice imagery. well penned!
