Cynic

Cynic

A Poem by Samuel Jack

There he goes again
With that cynical finger
Poking holes in all creation

Turn it on yourself once in a while
You've plenty of faults for the prodding

I don't mean to bring on a wave of blue melancholy,
Or begin the going quiet thing
But by your own reasoning,
I cant turn my cheek from great folly

I'm from the industrial wasteland that is England, I'm very passionate about poetry, while not being very educated on the subject. So constructive criticism is more than welcome. I like poetry, for.. more..
