TIDES OF LOVE

 

 

I'm watchin' the tides of love cover me

and wash away my dreams

Life has no purpose now for me

cause you meant everything

So I'll just stand and watch the tide

while it comes into the shore

I'll watch the tide flow over me

and wash away some more.

 

You were like a shelter there,

when the tides were rolling in

but the heartbreak that I feel now

no love can ever mend.

The shelter that I have now

is weaker than it seems.

The tide is rolling in again,

there goes my hopes and dreams.
