I Don't Know

I Don't Know

A Poem by poetforlife

I don't know how to say I love you, more than I already do

I don't know how to say I want you, but you must know it's true

I don't know how to say I'm sorry for the hurt you've gone through

I don't know how to say forever, just take my hand, we'll make it through.

I knew the first time that you kissed me and your smile stole my heart

I knew the first time that you touched me, that we could not be apart

I knew my heart had found the answer it had been searching for

I  knew that I had finally found you and I would search for you no more.

You're the answer to my questions, the reason that I breathe

The sands of time have finally washed my way....

I don't know how to say I'll stay here, except to lay by your side

I can finally see forever when I look in your eyes

You're the man I want to love now, for the rest of my life

You're the place I want to linger, while the world passes by.
