Eidolon.

Eidolon.

A Poem by E. Greene

Eidolon of the dawn,
You mask the air with your flesh,
Spewing forth misty sweat,
Cloaking us in velvet haze.

Eidolon of the day,
Your flashing teeth,
Blushing skin, wafting breath,
Paint with iridescence.

Eidolon of the dusk,
You droop your eyes,
Phasing out the glimmer,
Abyssal drapery set in place.
