Cross the Border

Cross the Border

A Poem by Sanjeeta Sharma Pokharel "Hridayaninadini"

The rise

Gifted the day

The descend-

The night

A loop of nights and days

Whirled " A life!

The touch

Of White

The splash

Of Black

Backdrop of ‘Black and White’

Hence- An art!

The prosperity

Of boundless Happiness

The possession

Of fathomless Love

 Melt of Cold-bits and pieces

Enrich- The tranquility!

But Alas!

Aloof they stand

TODAY-

Wonder I-

The lashes of eyes

Closes

You feel the night

Opens

You feel the day!

It’s you- who FEEL!

Who created the border!

And who dared to cross!

The mucky edge

The line-hence-gross!

Let every feet grasp

The mud of emancipation!

To the land

Where

Blindfolded are-

The flying flocks

The rambling creek

The gusting breeze

The drizzling clouds

The flowering moulds!

Let every ears harks

The strings that tunes to Melody

Of an explicable lexis-

The claps of the thunder

The rustle of the wind

The babble of purity

The call of nature

The roar of grandiose sky!

It’s you- who DREW the border!

There exists

 A Life

An Art

The tranquility

Beyond the border!

Your inner voice

Embraces

An urge to traverse-

A will to wipe away

The filthy border!

Come and feel the “life”

Cross the border!

Categorizing a group of sentiments leads to faster thought and responses in a social situation. But you may have to communicate in kind, only to those who share the same categorization of sentiments. In time these grow into an appeal and then an ideal. By then you'll be too busy, drawn to life's enthusiastic activities. A nice poem.

A pleasing and challenging poem... celebrating life's freedom and the joy of all living things and of art's liberation - and condemning the borders we create that create division and strife...

Strong, powerful writing...
