Burning Love Take Hold

Burning Love Take Hold

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick
"

Rhyme. Desiring to get away

"

I would like slipping very far away

Where all is quiet and no one speaking

Maybe I'll slip away during day

Upon loud train with whistle shrieking

From the closed window I'll wave goodbye

On this trip I'll spend all day  dreaming

In a glass car enjoy visions of sky

And listen to rhythm of engine steaming

Excitely listen as the noisy wheels make

Clickety-clack sound, and in my heart knowing

Within my being burning love soon will its place take.

This love reaching deeper as farther away going__

What a wondrous world you've created for us to share.. a journey that simply takes you away. I remember traveling by train with my brother when I graduated high school. Good memories...

There's real movement in this poem .. can near hear you reading your words aloud and see each line in bright to brighter pictures. Inspiration is a more than wonderful companion.
