I am Lucky

I am lucky.
This is a fact.
I have loving parents
and I've learned so much.
I have friends
who care about me.
I have a dog
and books to care for.
I have anything
i will need.
But still I can't
help but think.
There are things missing.
I don't want to be bullied.
I need closer relationships.
I yearn to show the real me.
As I am now, I hid parts
from each known person.
Half of my soul is shaking
and the other is tucked away.
I am lucky.
This is true.
I don't drink, or do drugs
and neither do my family.
But still something is missing.
And that secret is save with
my hidden soul.

Oh, this is an emotional piece. If this is about you, I really do hope you find it in your heart to let the other know what you want. Let someone know about the bullying, so it can stop. Try and open up to those you want closer relationships with. The things that you are hiding, isn't work keeping bottled up--Trust me. It's worth it in the end to open up to those you feel can take it. You know? Don't open to someone you don't trust, open to those you feel truly deserve it. if you don't have someone like that, keep searching. It's out there. Really well done with this piece.
