mouse to Lion

mouse to Lion

A Poem by Sarah W. French
"

...

"
My heart roars and my voice squeaks.
I'm trapped in a creative vice.
Surrounded thoughts unknown
to you and anyone else.
You may think I'm a mouse
someone to be trifled with.
Quiet I may be,
silent I'm not.
When the time comes
I will release the lion within me.
My hunger for power
will burst one day.
