Dark One Stories

Dark One Stories

A Poem by Sarah W. French
"

#3 in my Dark One series of poems

"
"Don't go making deals
with her.
Don't speak or even
think her name.
She takes children
in the night.
Destroying lives
in the blink of an eye."
Those are the stories
they tell their children.
To scare them into
submission.
Forget the
Once Upon A Time.
Never mind how
i got my power.
What matters
is what came after.
The "dirty" deals
and mixed up lives.
Don't go making deals
with me.
Unless you can pay the
price like me.

Wow.
A very interesting write. Intriguing almost.
I love the contrast of those stories against the Once upon a time fairytales!

Don't go making deals
with me.
Unless you can pay the
price like me.

Very powerful, poignant lines.
Very well done.

Almost like the beginning of a story Sarah, I felt the eeriness and a dark mood rising within. Lovely.
