Setting Rain

Setting Rain

A Poem by Sarah Hobbit

Rain outside my window

Pitter Patter Splatter

on the tree with golden leaf

Shiny little drip drops sit

sparkling in the light of end of day

Sounds of bird singing

their evening good byes

As the night comes with rainy darkness

I like this poems rhythym as much as its contents. It perefectly matches the slow onset of rain. Another cracker.

I like the sound of a slow and easy rain. Sort of a meditation it can create. I like the poem. Your words create a good and peaceful place to be. Thank you for the excellent poem.
