THE STAR YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR IS IN THE RIVER

The star you are searching for is in the river

Invisible to blindness, to secrets, to darkness

Its glimmering shine is a treasure to find within

The currents of life

Deep in the waters…glimmering like glass

Capturing light…..a refraction of rays

This star, reflecting our yesterdays, today, tomorrow,

Happiness and sorrow

This wisdom, flowing, a fountain

A life source flowing from streams to rivers

Becoming as we…the ocean

A culmination …….of all

The star we search for is all our hopes, fears, and dreams

Caught in one spectrum

A light collected by the sun’s energy

Captured there, reflected back in the waters

A flowing, powerful, ever changing life source

Surrounded by widespread life, energies and powers

Continually evolving flowing motion

 Thrashing, speaking, unfolding

The one and only true star we are all searching for

The star that kings and kingdoms search for

There…..in the river……this star

Flowing wisdoms of yesterday, today, and tomorrow

The star you are searching for is in the river.

Went to the water to sit and draw and write and the words were there with me, so I wrote them down.

You have written a very special poem, one that
captures our imagination and at the same time
is very real. Caught up in the rushing waters,
we sense the cool, freshness in the air as our
life unfolds before us in the rushing water.

I could go on for pages, raving about this poem
and the qualities of the poet, but the poem
speaks for itself, a testament to the gifts, the
talent and expertise of the author.

I love it,

I have always liked this poem because I was sitting near water and literally felt the words pouring out of me and onto the paper. I remember smelling the sweet air and hearing the water roll over the rocks and I melted into the enviornment that was arround me. I still read it and understand it's meaning.
