The Fake Friend

The Fake Friend

A Poem by Sarah_Rose
"

I hate fake people. The world would be so much easier without them.

"
I stuck by you through thick and thin,
Through good times and the bad,
I was always on your side,
I never made you sad.

So how could you go and pick a fight with me?
You act all big and bad, tough and strong.
As far as I know, you had no right,
As far as I know, I did nothing wrong.

You should be glad that I know him enough,
To talk about all that,
And you should probably know that everyone else,
Talks about him behind your back.

Just shut up and listen.
If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be together,
If it wasn't for me, he still wouldn't remember.

Horrible rhythm to that one, I know. I was so pissed off when I wrote it though.

pretty relevant to a circumstance most of us will experience at some point in life~you shout it with well composed fervor that gets the point across quite sharply~ well done~

Friends are your worst enemies, they are the most likely to turn against you. I had a friend just like you, but in a slighty different case, we were good friends until she got her a new bf, and i havent heard from her in months. But it was a good poem. Hope everything will work out.
