Falling Gently

I fallen before

landed flat on my face

but never have I ever

felt myself fall with such grace

 

Before when I fell

I'd just stand up and brush it off

but this time it's different

because the fall is soft

 

I don't want to fight it

I like falling this way

It's kinda like I'm floating

like I'm drifting away

 

It's hard to imagine

if I'll ever come back

cause when I'm falling like this

it's love's pain I lack
