meet me in the street

meet me in the street

A Poem by Sarra Sahara
"

not finished yet!

"
meet me in the street.
cambridge way or rivoli drive.
coalesce out of the night.
let this dumb city sleep.
let's tumble.
let's dance.
let's fall.
let's laugh.
just meet me in the street.

meet me in the street.
let's watch flies die in the lights.
but we know we are flies ourselves,
risking life to know desire.

let's get out of here.
let's walk - is there any need to drive?
step by step, onward, forward,
disintegrate into the night.
let's be shadows - or at least watch ours
stretch and embrace in the light.
step by step, onward, forward,
just meet me in the street.

Entertaining, simple and somewhat sweet poem of yours, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, it has a certain feeling of inocence to it which I liked. Wonderfully written, great poem.
