down by the river 

fishes drowning 

will they ever forgive her

mother nature 

no one knows 

the streams dream

all conceived by a piece of her

the sirens cry 

all convicted to a different mind 

hurricane brews 

laughing in the face of death

a tsunami cries 

wondering if it will be sacrificed this time

the sardines roar 

begging to be worth more 

bubble rise

drowning in their own thoughts
