Midmorning

Before the Sun

Early mornings are not meant to be seen by many

For those well on the road to success or those adoring their lovers

A time meant only for the sun and moon to switch shifts

When only steady heart beats and natures symphony should occupy the air

Mountains of blankets should be the only obstacles you have to overcome
Long sighs from stretches the only overdone noise

with the only exception

of those assuring their finances

Actually chasing their dreams

Stumbling down their driveways

Spaced out at red lights

Speeding past their favorite places

Putting forth maximum effort so that

some day, they also

may rest their eyes or roll over and smile at their sleeping lover

This is so true on many levels and and I enjoyed how you touched on being dazed out at a red light...
