Knowing

There is a beauty in acceptance

Life is just a rush to the finish line

Some tripping those around them for the advantage,

others stopping along the way to help a friend

How each person before and after you treats the road we're on effects how we'll ever travel down it again

So much pain, so often, it's normal, you stay in your lane, doing 100 miles an hour straight to your maker

White noise; everyone around and all the pain they've caused.

No longer seeing or hearing what they say or do, no longer feeling the outer layers of your heart falter

It is then you feel YOUR pains, it is then you decide how to cope, it is then you KNOW it is normal and you're one step closer
