Membrane

Membrane

A Poem by sayandeep kundu

We act-

Act like two alternate voids

Alternative to the shades in contrast.

We fade away-

Fade away into the sky so vast,

Though finally we last-

Last forever till we rise,-

Rise again..

Against the light

Or fall

Against the darkness....

And trust each other

Forever..

We are the one

That splits into us

We are always out there

Out there in the middle

To kiss the sand

To miss their dirty hands

To risk landing up on their grey lands

To briskly follow the minute

To painfully swallow the universe..

Here we are..

A few minutes in the heaven

Or a few seconds in the hell,

There the ages dwindle

Dwindle down

To horrific hours,

Where we are born-

Every hour,

Every minute,

Every second....

Seems to be talking of rebirth of many kinds...deftly placed words my friend. Thank you for sharing. Truly inspiring - the subtle rhyme is beautiful!
