Yes

Yes

A Poem by Sibusiso Kotela

You make me want to read more,
So that one day when we're old
In our seclusion from society
I can quote for you my favorite romantic lines.
And we can sleep with an open door,
Not fearing rain nor cold,
No people to bother us, therefore no anxiety.
And no threat to our tranquility,
And my days will be filled with your oh so beautiful smile. Oh how it shines!

And I want to read palms,
So that I can devine your future,
And the duration of my stay in your life.
Will you stay on in mine as a wife?
There to lead me as I mature
And hopefully bully me into reading the psalms.

In case you did not notice I just proposed to you in verse.
Hopefully you will say yes, and I shall happily accept you as the centre of my universe.
